Kate Middleton is fast becoming the UK’s hottest style icon. Yesterday she flew the British flag by wearing a chic Burberry trench coat for her first official engagement to Belfast.

The traditional trench is the perfect choice for being out in the elements – for all we know she could have been hiding a thermal vest and a chunky jumper underneath to keep her warm.

K-Mid isn’t the only Kate who stepped out in a mac yesterday. The style queen herself Kate Moss was spotted wearing one in Paris.
