Perhaps he'd been paying closer attention than we thought to his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss because, unlikely as it sounds, Libertines rocker Pete Doherty's launched his first range of jewellery.
Pete has unleashed his imitable styling on unsuspecting shoppers with the range, created with London jeweller Hannah Martin and named Albion Trinketry in a nod to a Babyshambles lyric. The jewellery is available now at selected upmarket Joseph stores.
'It's just an opportunity to do something popular, something with a bit of quality to it. Not to just copy things that I like but use ideas that inspire, like old English and German pocket watches,' explains Pete.
The 15-piece military themed jewellery collection includes cufflinks, pendants, rings and chunky bracelets and necklaces. The items come in oxidised silver and rose gold adorned with mammoth tusks and black diamonds. Eat your heart out, Cheryl Cole!
