It's an X Factor Fair Isle fest for Cher Lloyd, Katie Waissel and  former contestant Diana Vickers this autumn.

These ladies are opting for ski-lodge chic to keep them warm without sacrificing their stylish streaks.

Katie adds a a geek chic twist to her oh-so-cosy cardie, whereas Cher has been getting her swag on with a zebra print Paul's Boutique bag, teaming her Nordic number with cable-knit pompom socks.

And previous finalist Diana wraps up warm on a trip to Radio 1 in a chunky knit, khaki combats, fur-trimmed boots and standard issue pop-star shades.
