Doctor Who star Karen Gillan picked up the award for Best Family Drama

As all other stars went for classic black frocks, flowing gowns or sexy body-con numbers, Karen Gillan stole the show at the TV Choice Awards in her simple, laid-back outfit.

The Doctor Who star was every inch the understated style winner as she picked up the award for Best Family Drama at The Dorchester Hotel in London.

Karen's rusty-coloured Nanette Lepore lace dress, teamed with a black silk Diane Von Furstenberg blazer, was poles apart from other flesh-baring frocks at the bash - and gets a 10/10 from the Now style team.
