Daisy Lowe will be fronting mum Pearl's collection for Peacocks

Designer Pearl Lowe has managed to rope in daughter Daisy to front the campaign for her second collection for high street brand Peacocks.

The collection, said to be designed with Daisy in mind, comprises vintage-inspired tea dresses and accessories celebrating the English countryside.

Pearl took inspiration from 'riverside summer picnics, croquet on the lawn and long, fun-filled summer days,' she says. 'Everyone knows about my love of vintage and I haven't let down my fellow lovers of dresses inspired by days gone by.'

In addition to the line of pretty dresses, Pearl has built on her debut party collection from last season, which now includes jeans, slogan T-shirts and cardigans.

Daisy adds: 'Summer's my favourite season and there's no doubt that every single item in my mum's new collection is going to be well worn this summer by me and my girlfriends.'

The range is set to launch in selected Peacocks stores on 13 May, with prices starting from £14 for a slogan T-shirt to £40 for a vintage-inspired floral tea dress. All fashions will be available in sizes 8 to 16.
