It's a sad day for fashion firebrands as Malcolm McLaren has lost his battle against cancer at the age of 64.
Best known as the manager of the Sex Pistols, Malcolm - along with band members Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten - became the poster boys of the punk movement.
Along with his fashion designer girlfriend at the time Vivienne Westwood, Malcolm opened the notorious Sex boutique on London's Kings Road, which became a one-stop style shop for punk rockers, famed for safety pins, Union Jacks and studs.
Malcolm's son with Vivienne Westwood, Joe Corré, co-founded cult lingerie brand Agent Provocateur, so ever the agitator, Malcolm was instrumental in revolutionising our knicker drawers too.
Paying tribute, Vivienne says, 'When we were young, I fell in love with Malcolm, I thought he was beautiful and I still do. The thought of him dead is really something very sad.'
