Celia Birtwell has designed this £125 dress for John Lewis

Sixties style icon Celia Birtwell is back on the high street thanks to a brand new range at John Lewis.

Loved by the supermodel style cognoscenti, including Kate Moss and Erin O'Connor, Celia has created a 25-piece collection of romantic styles in her signature retro prints.

Moving on from the fresh, fun Celia Birtwell For Topshop collaboration, expect delicate chiffon, darling tea dresses and divine blouses with Celia's trademark pussy bow detailing and sophisticated grown-up styling, aimed at the well-heeled John Lewis customer.

Now's Style Editor Alison Tay met Celia Birtwell at London Fashion Week.

'It's really difficult to find a good print on the high street,' Celia told Alison.

But thanks to Celia Birtwell's brand new collection at John Lewis, not any more. 

Prices range from £65-£150, available at selected stores an online at JohnLewis.com from March 2010.
