Cheryl Cole has top designers begging to work with her but not Roberto Cavalli it would appear.
Rumours were flying that the Italian designer had offered Cheryl £1.3 million to front his autumn/winter fashion line, but they were swiftly crushed on Friday by the Cavalli camp in a statement:
'Please note that contrary to false rumours from today's newspapers and online news sites, the house of Roberto Cavalli have never approached or offered Ms Cheryl Cole a fee to appear in any of its advertising campaigns.'
Ouch.
Roberto, who once designed a diffusion range for high street label H&M, is famed for his ostentatious animal prints, gold snake signature statement jewellery, plunging necklines and diaphanous maxi dresses.
There's no cheque in the post for Chezza but she can still shop online to get the Roberto Cavalli look...
