Gossip Girl fashion to hit the UK High Street in April at Miss Selfridge

High street fashion store Miss Selfridge is collaborating with the mega hit US series Gossip Girl to launch a stylish clothing collection - and we can hardly wait...

The collection will consist of 8 dresses inspired by the four leading ladies: Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams - and based on the designs of Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman.

The range is set to include a sexy leopard print maxi dress, a ruffled shift dress, a body con bandage dress and a lace tutu prom dress - all in keeping with each girl's style on the show.

Creative director of Miss Selfridge Yasmin Yusuf says:  ‘We are delighted to be working with the Warner Bros TV series, Gossip Girl.

'The dresses we're created based on the characters fit perfectly with our spring, summer 2010 range.

‘Our customers love the show and the style of the girls so the partnership is a perfect match.'

We couldn't agree more.

So, choose between the sleek and sexy party-girl style of Serena (Blake Lively) and the prim and preppy princess look of Blair (Leighton Meester).

Or, maybe you're into boho chick like Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) or edgy rock chick like Jenny (Taylor Momsen).

The collection is due to hit stores at the end of April and prices will start at £39.
