McQueen, Kylie Minogue - like many other fashionistas today - made her own poignamt gesture of respect by wearing her Alexander McQueen signature skull scarf.

Known to his friends by his real name Lee, Alexander is believed to have taken his own life days after his beloved mum's death.

Kylie told her fans on Twitter 'will wear my Alexander McQueen scarf today...RIP Lee.'
