Leona Lewis wears Roberto Cavalli at the Golden Globes

X Factor superstar singer Leona Lewis was stunning in purple at this year's Golden Globes.

Not letting the bad weather rain on her parade, Leona stepped out in a long lilac silk Roberto Cavalli number.

Leona also performed I See You, her Best Original Song-nominated song from Best Drama Film winner Avatar, at the event, held at The Beverly Hilton hotel in LA.

Although the rain poured, the frocks kept on coming and the red carpet was awash with the colour purple.

We loved Sandra Bullock's Bottega Veneta purple chiffon gown - fitting for the winner of the Best Actress award for her role in The Blind Side.

Other purple highlights included Black Eyed Peas singer and Nine star Fergie in a beautiful lavender Elie Saab gown and Damages actress Rose Bryne, who wowed in plum Lanvin with vintage jewels.
