Leighton Meester sports a high-top hairdo to go with her bizarre outfit choice

Leighton Meester has been snapped in a rather unusual choice of outfit.

The Gossip Girl star attended the American Eagle Outfitters flagship store preview party in New York yesterday in a bizarre leggings and crop-top combo.

The flesh-coloured pattern on these leggings makes it look as though Leighton, 23, has more on show than just her mid-riff.

Teamed with only a waistcoat over her black bra, this strange-looking outfit is an unusual choice for the normally glamorous star.

To top it off, it also looks as though Leighton has tied some festive Christmas ribbon around her neck.

Leighton was joined by the likes of Adrian Grenier and Michelle Trachtenberg at the event.
