Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight have had a rocky relationship

Angelina Jolie and her dad Jon Voight are back on speaking terms after seven years.

‘We're in touch, but not regularly,' he tells Us Weekly.

‘We love each other and that's the most important thing.'

Angelina, 34, severed contact with Jon, 70, in 2001 after he gave an interview about her.

They are thought to have reconnected in February after a secret face-to-face meeting.
