Pearl Lowe designs for Peacocks

Designer's daughter Daisy to model Christmas collection

Pearl Lowe has designed a new Christmas collection for clothing brand Peacocks.

The singer-turned-designer's daughter Daisy will model the range of festive dresses.

‘I've taken inspiration from the things I love,' Pearl says. ‘Classic vintage shapes, intricate detail, lace and wonderful textiles.'

The collection consists of a range of 5 retro glamour party dresses in sizes 8-16, costing £35-40.

Pearl, 39, credits David Bowie's album Hunky Dory as her inspiration.

'I'm very proud of the designs and can't wait to see them on the high street. It was important from the start that my designs were accessible and everything is under £40,' she explains.

Daisy, 20, admits she was excited about modeling her mum's dresses.

'Ever since I was a little girl I've dressed up in my mum's clothes,' she says. 'She's my style icon and her new designs capture her spirit and style.

‘It's great that everyone will have the chance to plunder mum's wardrobe this Christmas.'

The collection Pearle Lowe for Peacocks will be available from 2 November.
