Nicole Richie has teamed up with maternity line A Pea In The Pod.
The socialite, who is expecting her second child next month, has designed a 14-piece collection for expectant mothers.
‘I really think that the pregnant body is beautiful and I think that a lot of struggles that women have when they’re pregnant is feeling like they have to cover their body,’ Nicole says.
‘I think that you should show it off and I wanted to help encourage women to do that.’
The exclusive range will include maxi dresses, peasant tops and leggings.
‘I’m very inspired by the 60s and 70s, so I pulled a lot from that,’ Nicole tells Access Hollywood. ‘I kind of tweaked the styles that I wear on an everyday basis and made them a little more maternity friendly.’
Pregnant Nicole, 27, is mum to one-year-old Harlow with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, 30.
