Cheryl Cole's brother will not be sent to jail after attacking a man with pepper spray.
Andrew Tweedy, 29, admitted common assault and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Judge David Hodson gave him a 36-week suspended prison sentence at Newcastle Crown Court yesterday.
Tweedy has also been ordered to pay £250 to his victim Lee Clark for the incident in August 2008.
‘I’m shocked Tweedy wasn’t jailed,’ he tells Metro.
A spokesperson for Girls Aloud singer Cheryl, 25, said she would not comment.
