The Hills star wants new collection to be accessible
Saturday, 25 April 2009
Lauren Conrad is designing a new 'economy' range of clothes.
The Hills star has teamed up with US department store Kohl's to create an exclusive collection called LC Lauren Conrad.
‘It is a California chic line,’ says Lauren, 23. ‘It is a little more casual. They are basically trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere.’
Lauren, who already has the high-end Lauren Conrad Collection, hopes to attract customers with cheaper prices.
‘This was my way of being able to still do what I love and work with a great company and also make it accessible to the fans that made it possible in the first place,’ she tells Us Weekly.
The range will launch across the US in Kohl's stores and their official website in October.
