Simon Cowell has revealed that he has a crush on former X Factor contestant Ruth Lorenzo.

The judge, 49, who recently split from long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour, 34, says the Spanish singer is just his type.

‘Ruth is an incredibly sexy woman,’ he tells The People. ‘But nothing could happen because she’s a contestant and I know where to draw the line.’

But Ruth, 25, says Simon doesn’t stand a chance with her.

‘No way!’ she tells Now. ‘First of all I’m engaged. And if I wasn’t engaged he’d have to ask a million times for me to say yes. I’m a hard woman to get!'
