Joseph star has the hots for Baby Spice

Newly single Lee Mead has revealed he's got a thing for Baby Spice.

'My ideal girl is Emma Bunton,' he explains. 'She was my favourite of the Spice Girls – though I stripped off in Geri Halliwell's It's raining Men video, so I hope she's not jealous!'

The Any Dream Will Do winner, 26, recently ended his long-term relationship with dancer girlfriend Kerry Stammers so is ready to find love again.

'Christmas will be pretty grim,' he tells The Sun. 'I was seeing Kerry for three years but it wasn't working out.

'It wasn't just me getting the Joseph job that caused us to split up, it hadn't been working for a while. It's a shame.

'I haven't had the chance to get out and meet anyone else because I'm working so hard. But it would be nice to meet someone in time for Christmas.'

Spice Girl Emma is living with Jade Jones, the father of her son Beau, so Lee will have to look further afield.
