These days the average wedding costs around £20,000 – with about £800 of this spent on a dress that you’ll wear for a few hours.

Marks & Spencer’s elegant new wedding collection includes 12 bridal dresses, plus bridal underwear, bridesmaids’ dresses and suits for the groom.
