Actress puts brand on the A-list fashion map

Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria has been picked as the new face of Bebe Sport.
The 31-year-old star, who recently starred in Harsh Times alongside movie veteran Michael Douglas, is already the face of beauty giants L’Oreal but this is her first flirtation with a major fashion name.
The actress has a two-year contract and says: 'When I was poor, it was always my dream to walk into Bebe and buy everything.'
Bebe chairman and founder Manny Mashouf isn't complaining, either. He told WWD: 'We love Eva...she's sexy, smart, independent and fit.'
OC babe Mischa Barton has previously modelled for Bebe but Eva's new campaign is the first high profile partnership for the sports line.
Since the brand launched in 2003, selling super-stylish sportswear, 48 stores have opened in the US, Puerto Rico and Canada.
The campaign, shot by top snapper Greg Kadel, will launch mid-March in US national and regional magazines and UK fans can check out the Spring/Summer 2007 images featuring Eva on www.bebe.com from March.
