Miss Selfridge has teamed up with the Victorian and Albert museum in London for a spectacular 60s fashion exhibition. Music and fashion were Britain’s biggest export at the time and this exciting show details the designers who made it happen and the clothes that shocked the ‘squares’.
Expect to see everything from boldly-printed paper dresses to Biba classics. The V&A has recently interviewed influential movers and shakers from the period so you can get a real sense of the scene.
You can also see an array of fantastic fashion photographs and images of London’s fashion icons like Marianne Faithful and Jean Shrimpton. Find out more by visiting www.vam.ac.uk and www.missselfridge.com.
The Victoria and Albert Museum, Comwell Road, London - nearest tube South Kensington.
