Harry Potter star turned fashionista Emma Watson has teamed up with Fair Trade fashion brand People Tree to create a capsule collection, set to launch in March 2010.
Emma, who plays Hermione Granger in the hit Harry Potter films, says: 'I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to help alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.'
The spring/summer line boasts knitwear, cotton t-shirts, jersey dresses, poplin skirts and shorts.
People Tree's summery teenage wardrobe, which includes Emma's creations, is inspired by the South of France, London and country festivals.
Expect fun slogans printed on T-shirts and dresses such as; 'Please don't panic… I'm organic' and 'Consumer power baby'.
We're pleased to hear that all royalties from the collection will be donated to the People Tree Foundation, an independent charity supporting Fair Trade in 15 countries.
