Sales of military-style coats have hit the roof after Cheryl Cole's performance on The X Factor.
The Girls Aloud star sported a red-and-black jacket last week when she performed her single Fight For This Love and fans have been desperate to get their hands on something just like it ever since.
Retailer giant Tesco have reported a 150% rise in sales of their version of the coat.
‘As one of Britain's leading style icons, Cheryl Cole seems to have a knack of identifying the must-have trends and her military jacket on The X Factor is no exception,' says Tesco Clothing Chief Executive, Terry Green.
‘We've seen sales rocket as a result and have ordered in extra numbers to cope with the demand.'
The F&F Military Coat from Tesco is available in brown or navy and costs £45.
