It may have been named the most influential haircut of all time, but Jennifer Aniston has revealed she hated her '90s Rachel hairdo.

As girls were taking photos of the Friends star into salons for a copycat cut, Jen was cursing her LA hairdresser Chris McMillan for giving her a style she despised.

'I love Chris but he's the bane of my existence because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look,' Jennifer, 41, tells Allure magazine.

'How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen.

'What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?'

Jen has previously admitted that the heavily-layered 'do, which she sported during her time as Rachel Green in the US sitcom, was a burden because she was recognised more for her hair than her acting.

'I hope people will ignore this new cut,' Jen said shortly after moving on from her Rachel style.

'You don't want to be associated with a haircut, it is just a stigma I don't want to have.'
