Emma Watson had long hair

Emma Watson has a dramatic new haircut.

The Harry Potter actress has had her long locks shorn off to create a cropped 'do.

Emma, 20, unveiled her new look by posting a picture of herself on Facebook.

'Cut my hair off a few days ago,' she says on her blog. 'Feels incredible. I love it.

'I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like it.'

Earlier this week, it was announced that Emma was being replaced as the face of Burberry by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

'Emma is a big part of the Burberry family and is also a wonderful friend,' said chief creative officer Christopher Bailey. 

'I have huge admiration for her both personally and professionally. We've worked with Emma on various projects and campaigns and will continue to collaborate together.'
