Jennifer Lopez looked flawless at the recent US Weekly Hot Hollywood party in Los Angeles. Recreate her cute curls using top Hairdresser, Nick Malenko's step-by-step guide.

1. Shampoo and condition your hair using a moisturising product range, or if you have coloured hair like Jen, a shampoo and conditioner that is safe for coloured tresses. L'Oreal Professional Absolut Repair, £26.25 (full set).

 
2. Apply a volumising mousse, such as L'Oreal Tecni Art Full Volume, £7.75, into the root area and divide hair into large sections. Blowdry each section using a large round bristle brush and a hairdryer with a nozzle, which will create smoothness, starting at the top of the head and working your way down.
 
3. Leave the hair pinned in these roller-type shapes for ten minutes or until it has cooled. Remove the pins and let the hair fall into relaxed waves, gently raking through with your fingers or a very wide-toothed comb to separate. To finish, secure hair with curby grips, £1.35, and use a flexible hairspray such as L'Oreal Tecni Art Fix Anti-Frizz, £7.25, then spritz L'Oreal Tecni Art Crystal Gloss spray, £7.60, to give a high shine and fabulously glossy finish.
