The lovely Charlize Theron made the most of her naturally wavy hair at an American Cinematheque awards do honouring Matt Damon in LA.

1. Wash and condition hair with John Frieda Root Awakening Shampoo and Conditioner.

2. Apply John Frieda Frizz-Ease Secret Agent [£4.49] to wet hair, then blow-dry at a low speed on warm-hot setting, using a diffuser. Don't brush or comb it. To give it texture, pull out random sections and curl with a medium size tong. If your hair's really curly, this will help loosen it.
 
3. To keep freshly tonged hair in place and make your look last, secure each individual tonged section to your head with a pin, creating a pin curl. Leave in place until they've cooled down.
 
4. Once the hair has cooled, run your fingers through to break up the waves. Pin to one side with a hair grip and finish with a spritz of John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum Finishing Spray [£4.49] for perfect Charlize-style waves.
