Yesterday, Now's Style Editor Alison Tay had the pleasure of joining Katherine Jenkins, Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott and Davina McCall's hairdressers - Zoe Irwin, Ben Cooke, Akin Konizi and Michael Douglas respectively - at the P&G pre-awards primping salon at a swanky suite at London's Soho Hotel.

And what was the hottest discussion topic?

Cheryl Cole's marriage trauma? Nope... Mark Owen's 10-fling infidelity? Nope... Vernon Kay's sex texts?... Nope... Heidi Montag's cosmetic surgery? Nope...

Believe it or not, it was the Tangle Teezer, the cult detangling invention made famous on Dragons' Den.

'I can't believe I even have to tell you about this, darling!' tutted Silvikrin Style Director Zoe Irwin, seen below with Alison, who teases the tresses of Lisa Snowdon, Katherine Jenkins and Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh.
