Michael Jackson's daughter Paris had her nails painted green during the salon trip

Locks of hair belonging to Michael Jackson’s daughter were taken from a salon after she had her hair trimmed, according to a US journalist.

Local TV reporter Alicia Jacobs posted Twitter updates when Paris, 11, visited Amp in the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas at the weekend.

‘WOW! Mercedes just finished cutting Paris' hair and security made Mercedes grab a plastic bag and gather up ALL of Paris' hair from the floor!’ she wrote.

‘Every last hair from Paris' haircut gathered from floor, placed in plastic bag and given to her tutor...very strange!!

'Paris Jackson's haircut @ Amp Salon today was her first haircut...ever!!'

Mark Lester, 51, claims he is Paris's dad after revealing he once donated his sperm to Michael.

‘Can you imagine the value of Paris' hair,’ Alicia later said in an email to Vegas Confidential. ‘DNA ... the truth finally.’
