Max Branning, played by Jake Wood, threatens to shoot brother Jack

EastEnders brothers Max and Jack Branning end up in a dramatic shootout over the woman they both love.

The siblings, played by Jake Wood and Scott Maslen, fall out after Max find out about Jack's relationship with his wife Tanya, played by Jo Joyner.

‘Max has realised Jack is taking his brotherly duties just a step too far,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘In his stressed-out state he gets his hands on a weapon. A round is fired and one ends up fighting for his life.’

The scenes are set to air in the autumn.
