Amy Winehouse’s mum is worried that her daughter is too fragile to finish her UK tour.
Janis, 52, reckons hubby Blake Fielder-Civil’s arrest is getting to the singer.
‘My heart goes out to her,’ she says. ‘She is under immense stress over Blake's imprisonment.
'I wouldn't hesitate to tell her to pull out if I feared she was in danger. I don't want Amy destroying herself.’
But Janis hopes Amy, 24, will pull through.
‘I think she will get by and come through what is a terribly lonely time for her right now,’ Janis tells the Daily Mirror.
And it seems she’s right. Amy completed her Glasgow gig without incident and performed an outstanding show in Edinburgh on Friday.
Blake is being held in Pentonville prison after being accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
