Singer to star in spoof remake of Pride And Prejudice

Lily Allen is set to play Russell Brand’s lover in a spoof remake of Pride And Prejudice.

The singer, 22, will play Lydia Bennet opposite TV presenter Russell as lothario George Wickham.

‘Lily was sent the script and just loved it,’ a source tells The Sun.

She’s due to start filming next spring – and Stephen Fry is also rumoured to have signed up to play her dad.
