Amy Winehouse must really love her 1950s hairdo - she’s taken 5 of her wigs with her on holiday.

Hairdresser Alex Foden says he sent the singer off to St Lucia with a set of instant beehives.

And he’s revealed the secret to her unique mop – Amy, 23, creates the look with hair extensions held in place by clips and copious amounts of spray.

‘She likes her hair to be as big as possible,’ Alex tells the Sun. ‘The bigger the better. She wanted to make sure she had enough with her to clip on, so I made her five before she left.’

And ironically, the hair extensions Alex uses are called Hair Rehab. While the colour of the extensions are Paparazzi Perfect.

Meanwhile, it's claimed DJ and producer Mark Ronson, 31, has vowed never to work with the troubled singer again after she pulled out of a video shoot at the last minute – to go to the Caribbean.

‘Seeing pictures of her living it up on a tropical island infuriated Mark - and justifiably so,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘He has been hugely concerned about Amy and considers her a great friend. But he's telling friends their working relationship is over for good.’
