Pile your hair into a messy topknot for casual celebrity glamour...

Dishevelled up-dos are de rigueur for Jessica Alba and Whitney Port.

Toni&Guy international art director Bill Watson, who's created the tresses of tomorrow at Vivienne Westwood and Calvin Klein, reveals how:

1. Scrunch a handful of mousse into damp hair, then blow-dry using a round brush to create volume.

2. Rake your hair back into a high ponytail and back-comb in sections to create varying lengths.

3. Finish by tucking your ponytail in and securing the end to the nape of your neck with kirby grips, then fix with a light mist of hairspray.
