It's the party season so be bold

Cheryl Cole wore her hair in a Minnie Mouse bow on The X Factor

The jury's still out on Ms Cole's bow hairdo - we think Gaga did it better - but as it's the party season, we're sure it's a 'do that'll look good on the dancefloor.

Getting the look is easy:

1. Put hair into a high ponytail and pull the ends of the ponytail back through the hairband so that the ends are caught and it fans out.

2. Pull a thin piece of the ponytail free to create the centre of the bow.

3. Bring it over the front and secure with pin into place.
