Brighten up your nails the Paris way, with Barry M

Paris Hilton looked pretty in pink at Monte Carlo's Billionaire Club Party during the F1 Grand Prix in Monaco, recently.

Barry M's chief make-up artist Amy Sachon tells us how to recreate her statement nails.

1. Buff nails first: use cuticle oil, then push back your cuticles to neaten the base of the nail.
2. File your nails into a square shape with round edges to recreate Paris's nail shape.
3. Use Barry M 3-in-1 Nail Paint as a base coat, to ensure there's a smooth surface before appling varnish. This'll also protect the nail while helping to maintain good condition.
4. Apply two or three thin layers of Bright Pink (279) polish to get Paris's hot pink look. Paint the nail from left to right in three single strokes to ensure the nail surface is covered.
5. Apply the 3-in-1 Nail Paint again, this time as a top coat for protection and shine, ensuring your nails are red- or pink-carpet ready!
