Singer preferred jeans and boots to sexy frocks
Friday, 1 May 2009
Cheryl Cole admits she took a while to love feminine fashion.
The Girls Aloud star once preferred loose-fitting casual stuff to designer style.
‘I was a tomboy throughout my teenage years,’ says Cheryl. ‘I used to wear baggy jeans, baggy jumpers and Timberlands. Then I discovered girly clothes and high heels.’
Now Cheryl, 25, who was named the World's Most Stylish Woman by a prestigious fashion mag, loves trying out new trends.
‘We all make mistakes, it’s about growing up,’ she tells Hello! ‘I have to be totally honest, this has all been a learning curve for me, this whole clothes business.’
