The jury in Britney Spears’ driving trial have been given more time to reach a unanimous verdict.
The panel were divided 10-2 yesterday on whether the singer was guilty of being behind the wheel without the required California state licence during an accident in LA last year.
Britney, 26, insists her Louisiana licence was valid when she collided with a parked car and then reportedly left the scene.
The judge has told the jury to return for final deliberations today, reports People.
If convicted, the singer could face 6 months in jail.
Meanwhile, Brit has hired famed choreographer Wade Robson, 26, to direct her forthcoming world tour, which begins in March.
He was previously in charge of her 1999 tour and was behind her raunchy Slave 4 U video.
‘She reached out to me and said she wanted to get the old team back together,’ he tells The Sun. ‘So we’ll go into rehearsals in January for a March start.’
