A watch company has launched legal action against Charlize Theron for allegedly breaking an endorsement deal.
Swiss firm Raymond Weil says it paid the actress 'substantial funds' to be the face of its Shine range.
And bosses expected the star, 33, to wear one of the £4,000 time pieces at all public events.
But she is said to have sported a Christian Dior watch while attending a recent US film festival.
The lawsuit, filed at the US District Court in New York, alleges fraud and breach of contract.
It does say how much Weil is seeking in damages, but lawyer David Jaroslawicz says the company spent over £10million on the ad campaign.
Charlize has apparently been ordered to appear in court by the end of October.
