Pete Doherty performed in Austria

Pete Doherty reportedly received medical attention after a suspected drugs overdose in Austria.

The singer apparently collapsed at his promoter Bettina Aichbauer’s farmhouse on Thursday.

An ambulance crew are said to have revived him after it was feared his heart had stopped.

Pete, 29, went on to perform in an ex-porn cinema in Graz later that evening but the gig was delayed by four hours.

'There was some minor problem but it's a secret,’ he told fans at the gig.

‘Nothing, bad though – I'm still alive. Death is something natural.'

His agent refused to comment.
