Jennifer Metcalfe turned down Kanye West when he asked her on a date

Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe may appear in rapper Kanye West's next music video.

The actress – who plays man-eater Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 show – revealed that he made a play for her when they met on his recent UK visit. But she politely turned him down.

‘I’m very flattered,’ Jennifer tells the Daily Star. ‘I would just love to be in his next music video!’

Jennifer, 25, is dating footballer Jermaine Pennant, 25, who's said to be less than impressed that the US star chatted up his girl.

‘What fella wouldn’t be slightly nervous about Kanye West taking an interest in his girlfriend?’ a source reveals.

‘He’s a global superstar, seriously sexy and has women throwing themselves at his feet.

‘It's enough to make any man jealous.’
