Beauty trend: A-list flirty eyes

Get peepers so hot they're smokin'

It’s awards season and, from what we’ve seen so far, the A-listers are going for subtle, smoky eyes – as seen here on Jennifer Lopez at the recent Golden Globe Awards. Here’s how to get Jen’s look:

Apply a light gold eyeshadow over the whole eyelid, going up to the brow bone. Try
MAC Eye Shadow in Rite Of Spring, £10.

Sweep an arc of grey eyeshadow above the socket line, from the inner to outer corners of the eye, then smudge some along the lower lash line. Try Rimmel Colour Rush
Trio Eye Shadow in Twilight Zone, £5.49.

Along the upper lash line, create a sultry cat’s-eye look using a black eyeliner pencil. Wet’n’Wild Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black, £1.49, should do the trick.

Coat your lashes with a mascara that’ll help to give them length and volume, such as new Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Micro-Fibre Mascara in Extra Black, £7.99.
