Who's laughing now, Karl Lagerfeld? Just a week after the designer dismissed her as a ‘little too fat', Adele unveiled a stunning new look at the Grammys.

And last night at the Brit Awards, she showed off her 'commitment ring' from boyfriend Simon Konecki and gave an amazing performance in a hot lace black dress.

Adele's lost 1½st since her debut album in 2008 and has lost another 8lb since throat surgery last year.

With a new blonde do, her leap from girl next door to pop princess is complete.

Daniel Galvin's senior colourist Lucy Holbrook was behind Adele's new hair. She tells Now: ‘We decided on a honey-coloured blonde.

'It suited her complexion and really brought out the colour of her eyes. She has a classic English rose look.'
