Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan: I feel sexier with dark hair

Helen Flanagan is dating Swansea City footballer Scott Sinclair

Helen Flanagan is back on Coronation Street after a 3-month break and while she was off screen, Helen, 21, went from brunette to blonde.

'As soon as I started my time off, I got someone to cut my hair and had it dyed blonde,'  she says.

'I just thought, "Ooh, I'll just go for it!"'

'I think I felt a bit more girly when I was blonde, and then when I went back to dark, I kind of felt a bit sexier.

'I'm not sure why.

'I just feel a little more womanly with dark hair!'

The extended holiday from Corrie has been good for Helen's relationship with Scott Sinclair, 22, a footballer for Swansea City.

'I got to spend a lot of time with my boyfriend, which was great,' she admits.

'Last year, it was quite difficult with my work schedule and Scott's.

'I didn't get to see him much because we were working crazy hours and I didn't have the time.'
