Frankie Sandford has the hair every girl wants right now.
'It's all gone a bit manic because over the last few months because Frankle's cut's become the new cult crop,' Nick Peters, Frankie's hairdresser and Creative Director at Daniel Galvin, tells Now Online.
In fact, the reason The Saturdays star went to LA for a radical new colour change was because there were a million Frankies out there.
'Frankie's hair is naturally dark hair,' says Nick, 'so we had to lift her base from dark to light brown with a high lift tint, with a combination of fine honey blonde highlights through the back for a natural look, and chunkier sections at the front to add texture, with colour blended through the sides.
'When I first met Frankie, she had a graduated bob but she wanted something with more edge. At first I undercut it so it was shaved on both sides. Short hair really suits her, but she doesn't like it super short.

'Now it's an asymmetric graduated bob which is like a crop on one side and a graduated bob on the other. To create her look, I blow dry it with L'Oreal Techni.Art Volume Architect [£12.10]. Then I use L'Oreal Playball wax to give it texture, then finish with a blast of L'Oreal Techni.Art Air Fix [£8.90]
to give it loads of shine, separation and hold.
'The Frankie suits most hair types but you're going struggle with it if you have curly hair. When you have your hair cut shorter, it needs more maintenance so have it trimmed every four to six weeks.'

A cut and blow dry with Frankie Sandford's hairdresser Nick Peters at Daniel Galvin costs £125. Call 0207 486 9661.
