Gemma Arterton ditched her usual sex-kittenish black eyeliner and red lipstick at the premiere of her new film Tamara Drewe in favour of going naked.

The former Bond Girl went for a natural, unadorned look with barely-there make-up, a slicked back ponytail and a simple white, strapless Gucci column dress.

Gemma's skin was glowing as she trod the red carpet for the premiere in London. Her fresh-faced look was a far cry from the saucy role she played in Quantum Of Solace as Strawberry Fields.

In Tamara Drewe, Gemma plays a high maintenance journalist who returns to rural Dorset. The star hopes the role will help her gain recognition as a 'serious' actress.

With classy looks like this on the red carpet, Gemma's sure taking a step in the right direction.
