Katy Perry shows off her tribal nails at the Coachella Festival in LA

Katy Perry's well known for her kitsch dress sense and she didn't disappoint when she turned up at the Coachella Festival in LA sporting tribal nail art.

Earlier in the week Katy was seen wearing a revealing black, bondage-style body con dress, teamed with the festival fave, gladiator sandals.

But day two saw Katy back on form in a native American Indian-style dress, complete with matching tribal nail art.

Katy showed off her painted nails as she posed for the cameras, putting her hand to her mouth in an impression of a native American war cry.

Nail art is big news this season, with designs including animal prints, designer logos, cartoon
characters, stars and stripes - in fact anything you fancy, with many finished off with glitter, sequins and pearls.

Katy's a big fan of both Minx nails (patterned nail stick-ons) and WAH nails (painted on with polish pens).
