Following Fake Bake's Save Your Skin campaign, backed by celebs including Now columnist Denise Van Outen, Prime Minister Gordon Brown has banned sunbeds for under 18s.
Sandra McClumpha, CEO of Fake Bake, reveals, 'We are delighted our courageous campaign, which was supported by Cancer Research and numerous high profile celebrities, resulted in a 13,784 signature petition being presented to No 10.
'We hope this new law discourages youngsters from risking their health on coin-operated sun beds.'
Denise adds, 'Tans fade and it's not worth the risk. Now my tan's from a bottle.
'I used a sunbed when I was 18 because I didn't know the risks, but I'm paying for it now.
'It's my big regret - I have pigmentation problems on my face. Girls are still using sunbeds, risking cancer for a tan.'
