Kelly Osbourne has dyed her hair lavender. And, no, it's not a mistake.

The reality-star-turned-singer admitted her inspiration came from Barry Humphries’ comic creation Dame Edna Everage - the larger-than-life Australian purple-haired housewife and chat show hostess.

Kelly even Tweeted: ‘I know it's lavender, but having my hair this colour makes me feel like me again.’

This isn’t the first dye job the Dancing With The Stars finalist has been spotted with. In early February she was sporting a platinum blonde wavy bob after years with black hair.

This ‘granny chic' hair colour is best worn with a funky hairdo and it's the fastest way to update your hair this season.

So, book that blue rinse now - just avoid pension day at the hair salon!
